George Vincent

PRESDIENT

George Vincent has over 20 years experience in the construction industry and is a Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor (CMRS), a Board certification requiring five years of verifiable mold remediation experience in addition to passing the certification exam with a minimum score of 80%.

Continuing education credits are also required to maintain the certification. The CMRS designation is recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the State of Florida, which required a CMRS to develop the mold remediation protocol all medical facilities in the State.

George continues to give educational seminars to adults struggling with asthma, COPD, and chronic other respiratory ailments. He was also a featured speaker at the American Lung Association’s 2006 Inhale-Exhale-Set Sail fundraiser in West Palm Beach. In 2008 George ventured to Iowa to help residents and business owners recover from the severe flooding in Cedar Rapids. He is credited by Edge Business Magazine with helping reopen the first restaurant in Cedar Rapids after the devastating floods. In 2010 George became a Certified Renovator under the US EPA’s Lead Repair Renovation and Restoration LawAlso in 2010, he became one of the first mold remediators licensed under the new Florida Mold Law. In 2012 Big Sky Environmental Solutions LLC was credited with making safe the home of an elderly man through the Palm Beach Post’s 2011-12 Season to Share program. George and Amy were featured on the front page of the April 9, 2012, Palm Beach Post in an article touting small businesses as economic catalysts.

As President of Big Sky Environmental Solutions LLC, Mr. Vincent performs on-site leak detection and water damage inspections and identifies the source water intrusions with state-of-the-art technology and old-fashioned know-how. He performs and oversees mold remediation and prevention services and trains laborers and applicators as needed. He outlines the options and expectations for each remediation, remodel, or new construction project, and then provides a written work plan to everyone involved. Mr. Vincent’s methods offer cost-effective remediation alternatives that preserve the structure, which means less disruption to the property and its occupants. In addition, Mr. Vincent and his staff keep clients informed during every phase of the remediation process. While on-site, he helps his clients comply with federal, state, and local regulations and is watchful of situations that are, or may become, hazardous and alert clients immediately. The staff of Big Sky Environmental Solutions LLC understands the fear of mold in the public eye, therefore, all of our clients are kept confidential.

Personally, Mr. Vincent has made a name for himself as a very knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable contractor. He is able to convey scientific information in everyday terms that customers understand and appreciate. Mr. Vincent listens to each customer’s concerns and takes them into account when developing the remediation protocol. Mr. Vincent frequently intercedes with insurance companies and other contractors on behalf of clients. His designation as a CMRS qualifies him to offer expert testimony when necessary.
